With
the latest release of ALOHA the long awaited FLOOR PLAN has been released.
This can be incorporated so that you could design the whole layout of the
restaurant as one floor design and then break it up with the dedicated sections
of the restaurant e.g. BAR LAYOUT, INSIDE SECTION AND OUTSIDE SECTION just
to name a few of the different scenarios to be considered.
The
whole FLOOR PLAN scenario makes it a more streamlined process to maintain
and open tables, to enter in the customers order or to modify a pending etc.
Different
colours for opened and unopened tables are used, as well as to differentiate
tables that have been opened from one operator to another. Tables in green
are the tables that have been opened by you, with the other open tables in
purple indicating that other wait staff have attended to them. White tables
are tables that are in the restaurant or section but have not been opened.
These white tables will remain white until they have been attended/opened,
making it much easier to acetane what the floor/table movement is at that
point of time.
